Tour of Schenectady High School
We will meet a the entrance to the new Sayles Arts Wing of the building at 3:45. This is adjacent to the STUDENT PARKING LOT. Enter from the Plaza.

Friday Night Barbecue
The gazebo area is in front of the building and is somewhat separated from the restaurant. Classmates can park near the front of the building and enter the gazebo and patio area near the front door entrance (which faces the road and is part of the original building).  This would avoid people entering by the busy restaurant area and walking through the restaurant. The front path leads people though pretty flowered areas, untouched by the floods, directly to our party area.  We will be outside on Friday evening.

Kate's Suggestions for breakfast/lunch:
Upper Union St area - Bruegger's Bagels, The City Squire (formerly Keye's Ave Tap Room) Hot Harry's (Mexican fast food) and Gershon's (still great deli), Homestyle Pizza
Downtown area - Van Dyke (brew pub and outside seating), Clinton's Ditch (Erie Blvd right behind where Ladd's used to be, outside seating), Katie O'Byrne's (where the train station used to be), Stockade Inn (formerly the lower Mohawk Club across from the Dutch Reformed Church), Apertivo (two doors from Proctors, excellent and popular), Bombers (Mexican food, fast food downstairs and seating upstairs, the block up from the old Wallaces), Denny's (on the site of old Nott Terrace HS)
All of the suggestions above are reasonably priced, and in familiar areas. Clifton Park is loaded with chain restaurants as is Latham.
