William D. Bonczyk SchenectadyWilliam D. Bonczyk, 70, of Irving Rd., Schenectady, passed away on August 29, 2013 at The Avenue Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late William and Alice Bonczyk. A graduate of Linton High School, he was an assembler at the General Electric Company. William was a member of the former St. Mary's Church, and bowled for the Y.M.P.A Club bowling league. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Paul Zeglen. William is survived by his sister, Margaret Zeglen of Scotia; nieces, Melissa McNamara, and Susan Frese; nephew, Michael Zeglen; and four great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 31, 9 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Calling hours will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in William's name may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
