Thomas R. Czaban, 67, of Glenville, passed away May 19, 2011 at Ellis Hospital, following a long battle with diabetes. He was born in Schenectady and lived in Alplaus for many years. Tom was involved in the automobile industry for most of his life. He worked as general manager for Morris Ford in Burnt Hills. An auto enthusiast his entire life, his passion was dirt track stock car racing as well as NASCAR. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He held a special connection with his grandchildren, who he enjoyed immensely. He was previously married to Pamela (DeZalia) Esposito, who is the mother of his children. Survivors include his son, Thomas C. Czaban; and daughters, Vanesa Czaban and Cheri Seifert and her husband, Ronald. Mr. Czaban also leaves behind his seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours, Sunday, May 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Graveside service at St. Anthony's Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
