The Hutten Family Memorial Fund

 

The fund was established in 1994 by Sophie and Max Hutten in memory of their daughter, Myra Hutten Eisenberg, who was killed in a tragic accident in 1987. In 2003 Sophie Hutten renamed the fund to honor her late husband, Maxwell, who died at age 98 in 1999. Sophie passed away at age 98 on August 6, 2003.

Myra Hutten Eisenberg was born in Schenectady in 1943, attended Linton High School and graduated cum laude from the Albany Academy for Girls. She attended Wheaton College and received her BA and MA degrees from the University of Wisconsin. Later she received an MA in social work from Fordham University. She is survived by her husband Steven, an attorney, her son Adam and her sister Leah.
